Answer: The VPS & Reseller accounts are very similar. They both do allow unlimited domains, personalized nameservers, and many more features. There are 3 major differences between Reseller & VPS packages, that can help you determine which package is right for you:
1) With a VPS you have guaranteed RAM & CPU assigned to your account. Other VPS accounts cannot steal or suck up all of the RAM or CPU at anytime because you have your own guaranteed amount. On a Reseller, it is on a shared environment and it is mostly first come first serve. If you will have many high RAM & CPU demanding websites the VPS would be a good option. The Reseller would be a good option if you will have very small websites that are not very demanding.
2) With a VPS you have root access & root WHM. This allows you to have total control of your VPS space. With root access you are able to configure the server to your own specifications and install/upgrade your own software. With a Reseller, you have limited access to WHM. While you get a lot of great features with the Resellers you have very limited control. You cannot set configurations and install your own software. In this case, if you don't mind upgrading software or writing in a ticket to do so, VPS would be a good option. However, if you do not have time or do not want to deal with the software aspect, Reseller is a better option.
3) You can reboot your own VPS server with our new online control panel, Virtuozzo Power Panel. This control panel will also allow you to see total resources used and manage your servers backups. These options are not avilable with the Reseller package.
Answer: Here is the process for upgrading to a VPS:
1.) Purchase a VPS account, to do this go to https://billing.hosteasier.com/order.php?gid=0000000004.
Then you just have to wait for your welcome letter.
2.) Once you have your welcome letter for your VPS account Email support@hosteasier.com with your old account('s) information and your new VPS account information with details of what exactly you need migrated and setup / configured for you on your VPS server, Please make sure to specify any specific concerns you may have regarding the migration, I.E retention of specific account settings etc, at this time you will also be able to define your privatized name servers on your VPS if you have chosen to use private name servers.
3.) Techs will alert you of any possible problems that could occur with the migration and ask if you wish to continue, if you wish to continue then they will alert you once your data migration is complete.
4.) Once Migration is complete and you have setup name servers in the main DNS zone file and you have updated your name servers and IP's with your DNS register and it is resolving to your VPS you can then cancel your reseller account, you will be pro-rated for the unused time that you paid for.
With this process you will experience no down time.

Answer: Shared Plan-2 package allow to host unlimited domains. All reseller plans allow to host unlimited domains aswell.
Answer: We do not set quantity of domains running on each machine. Ten domains can utilize more resources than 200 others. Support staff monitors each server's performance levels and attempts to maintain a low server load average and high cpu availability. If needed, we will upgrade the hardware, to increase server performance. Individual domains that become to much for the server to handle, and utilize too much server resources, are moved to servers set up specifically for such resource intensive accounts.
